I was born in Poland and came to Australia in 1982. I started my creative journey in the early eighties making leather jewellery. It soon developed into bigger sculptural pieces and wall hangings.
During my stay in Collie, I participated in different art exhibitions in the South West. Some of my leather works are included in the Collie Shire Art Collection. Studying Art and Design at TAFE allowed me to try different media, including painting on silk, which later became my favourite medium.
Winning the Griffin Art Prize in painting for beginners in 1991 encouraged me to focus on painting. My work has been exhibited at different art galleries and art exhibitions in Perth, Bunbury and Geraldton. Since 2002, I have been a tutor of Silk Painting ( which evolved into Exploring Fibre Art) at Kalamunda Learning Centre.
