Paluszak, Karol

I was born in Poland and emigrated to Australia in 1982. Since my childhood, I enjoyed drawing and painting, dreaming of becoming a visual artist. Sadly, my professional career went a different way; I finished my engineering studies and worked for many years in the Power Generation industry. I continued drawing and painting throughout my life, experimenting with various mediums and techniques. My painting style ranges from realism to abstract.

During the last 15 years, my work has been exhibited at different art exhibitions and art galleries (Mazenod College, St. Brigid’s College, La Salle College, Darlington Arts Festival, Beverley Art Gallery, Accent Art Gallery, ZIGZAG Art Gallery and others). We are surrounded by a vast variety of ever-changing images created by nature as well as by human activity. In my paintings, I am trying to express feelings and emotions triggered by what I have seen and experienced through many years of my life.
