O’Brien, Linda

Linda O'Brien is an established artist since holding her first successful solo exhibition in January, 2004. She is recognised for her works in the mediums of pastel, oil and acrylic, having won many awards over the years in these mediums. Her favoured is pastels, due to their immediacy, vibrancy and translucency. She choses a variety of subject matter in an impressionistic style, both in a representational manner and 'from the heart' to produce work left up to the viewer for interpretation. Linda takes on private commission work. A regular pastel class is held in her home studio for all levels and has a home gallery in Karrinyup. Linda is a long-standing member of The Pastel Society of W.A.
