I was born in Bunbury and started painting in 2010 when my husband and I moved to Singapore to live.

My favourite medium is oil painting, and I also paint in acrylic and have explored flow acrylics. I enjoy painting portraits, landscapes and plein air painting. My own travelling experiences, family and friends influence my paintings. I love bright colours, and therefore, my paintings are usually colourful.

Painting to me is like meditating; once I pick up a brush, my whole concentration is on the painting, and I forget what is happening around me.
