McFaull, Carmen

Since retiring from a career in art education and classroom teaching 20 years ago, Carmen has worked as a full-time artist. She paints in a loose impressionistic style that depicts real-life situations and scenes, then continues to manipulate the composition and colour combinations so that there is subtle or dynamic movement as the eye navigates the canvas. 

Carmen has travelled extensively to gather a diversity of resource material for her solo exhibitions and enjoys capturing the essence of Rottnest and the southwest coast of W.A. She currently runs workshops throughout Australia and overseas and has participated in many “Artist in Residence” programs - directing, demonstrating and facilitating painting sessions in inspiring locations locally and around the world. She has held 16 solo exhibitions to date.
