When I tell people I'm an artist, I'm often asked: "Oh, lovely, what medium do you work in?" It's a question that always leaves me tongue tied for explanation. So her goes... My artistic self is not seperate fr0m me, it is not something I do (although it is) it IS Me. I play with ALL media and have done for as long as I can recall, 5 years old is my earliest memory of drawing in my first sketchbook. I have explored myriad processes, techniques, methods and subject matter. I have worked representationally and in abstraction, with colour and without, all with a curious heart and mind. My practice is the expression of the culmination of years and years, hours upon hours of active experimentation. Sometimes it's a super fun, exciting process and sometimes it is confronting and dark. I wouldn't trade it for anything. :)
