Lee, Celine

Celine Lee is a Perth-based ceramic artist who works with both porcelain and stoneware to create functional and sculptural works that celebrate form, texture, and layered depth. Her practice often explores abstract landscapes and natural surfaces through glaze experimentation and surface treatments, inspired by places she has visited and experiences that have shaped her.

For this exhibition, Celine presents a new body of work that celebrates the beauty of Western Australian native flowers. Each porcelain vessel is adorned with hand-painted floral motifs, reflecting her appreciation of the region’s unique natural heritage and her interest in transforming clay into timeless forms that connect art with place.
