As an artist, the creative process has provided me with the means to investigate and assess my response to the natural environment. My arts practice references emotions, explores the physicality of media and celebrates the generation of new life in pre –used materials.

The essence of capturing "place" is an approach I pursue when depicting the natural environment. The artwork evolves according to the recollection of the personal experience, emotional recall and my own photography. Light, shadow and reflection play a significant role in capturing the mood of the day.

As a visual artist living in Bunbury, the waterways of the City are within my sight daily: thus, water features in much of my work and provides endless inspiration.
