Ivanac, Bethwyn

For as long as she can remember, Bethwyn Ivanac has been making things. She has been involved in many Craft and Art practices, and her working life involved the manufacture and creation of new products.

Beth is at a period in her life where all the formal Art education, personal research and life observance are coming together in her pieces.

In past years, Beth has been relishing the bright colours that are available to potters these days, but his year has been dedicated to learning about Raku and Pit-firing and its many challenges.

Pottery meets all Beth's needs, with so many directions that it can lead and the research, experimentation and challenge that it requires to make bespoke functional and artistic pieces

Beth has been involved with the Bunbury Studio Potters and the wider community of Stirling Street Arts Centre for the last 13 years, which provides inspiration and a wonderful community of like-minded creators.
