Art and the creative process has always been an integral part of my life. I have participated in many exhibitions in Perth and in the South West, including three solo exhibitions in Bunbury and a collaborative exhibition at the Collie Regional Art Gallery. My work has been published in the Sydney-based National Art/Edit magazine and I was also invited to exhibit in the Agora Gallery in Chelsea, NY. I was recently awarded a special commendation for the Self Represented Art Awards featured in the Autumn edition of the 2024 Australian Art/Edit national magazine. I am represented by Gallery 360 in Leederville.
The Australian landscape is a great source of inspiration for me because of its ruggedness, richness of colour, and serenity. The use of colour has always been an important factor to me in expressing my impressions and insight into the Australian landscape. This gives me the freedom to create and look at the landscape from a different perspective and allows the viewer to find their own mystery in my work.
